ISSUE 01 · LAUNCH EDITION

Behind every schedule,
there are people.

Four chapters on what brought us here — and what we want to build.

SCHED / JOURNAL

Care
starts
earlier.

Before the shift. Before the schedule. With people.
01 / THE STARTING POINT

Planning is also
an act of care.

Before a shift begins, decisions need to be made. Who is available? How is work distributed? How do we maintain clarity when plans change? This space, between organisation and people, is where Sched Solutions finds its purpose.

Our focus is healthcare team planning. We want to bring technology closer to the realities of those who coordinate services and those who work in them, shaping a clearer, more human experience.

A schedule is more than a grid of hours. It is where a service meets the people who make it possible.

This first edition introduces our vision and the people building it. A story still unfolding, with a clear purpose.

Clarity.
Context.
Balance.

02 / A SHARED VISION

Technology finds
its purpose.

HER-SHIFT embodies our approach to planning. We start with three ideas: organise information, give teams visibility and support a more informed conversation about how work is distributed.

On the website, you can explore that vision through an interactive demo. The names and shifts are fictional, but the invitation is tangible: look at a schedule, explore the details and consider the questions your organisation would like to answer.

Service requirements, integrations and implementation scope are discussed with the team. Technology should support decisions with context, keeping people at the centre.

03 / THE PEOPLE

Different expertise.
A shared ambition.

Sched Solutions brings together Cíntia Cumbane and Calvin Comolo, with backgrounds in computer engineering and complementary areas of focus.

Cíntia Cumbane

Her focus is on information systems, product, processes and user experience. A perspective that connects people's needs with the integration of technology into organisations.

Calvin Comolo

His focus is on artificial intelligence, technical architecture, optimisation and systems integration. A perspective centred on the technological foundations behind the product.

It is at this intersection of product, organisation and technology that we develop our approach to healthcare planning.

04 / BUILDING TOGETHER

A vision shaped
by your context.

ULS Coimbra is presented as Sched Solutions' technology partner. This connection is part of the chapter we are now sharing with those following the project.

Launching this digital presence opens a door: meet our team, explore HER-SHIFT and talk about the challenges in your service.

We want to hear what makes planning difficult in your organisation, what already works and what you would like to simplify. From there, we define the next step together.
